Look. The guy's hair got into her eye, and she aimed the kantana the wroooong waaaaay... Ooops... Okay, not funny. But the sword is supposed to be slicing through both persons. And now that I think of it, that's kinda hard to imagine...
Cid was telling me about his idea where the protagonist of his story is invincible unless death by his own sword. Or something. And the girl is kind of his guardian and, and, and... uh... I forget why she dies. I don't retain info well. And the setting was supposed to be autumn, I believe... Oh well! You can AIM this Cid guy at slackercx and ask him about his Prahjehkt.

You should watch the movie "Hero" with Jet Li. There was a scene where there was a lover's quarrel about fighting against the emperor of china... one decided to abandon the cause. The result was a intense battle between compassion and hatred. The man allowed the woman to kill him... because he loved her so much that he could never fight to the death as she proposed. It would seem hatred had prevailed over compassion as her blade penetrated his heart. As they gazed eye to eye... he still looked at her with love... and she realized why he had deliberately dropped his guard. The woman became so overwhelmed with guilt and sorrow that she left her katana in his heart as he dropped down to his knees to die. She too fell to the ground and held him from behind... gently rocking him as though the man where simply asleep. Then she looked at the hilt of her sword and pulled it downward... thus impaling them both. She died holding him in her arms...with her head bowed down from behind his shoulder.
Wow, that was a beautiful description of that scene... The guy who wanted me to draw this pic for him described the exact scene to me, but I hadn't seen the movie until after I'd finished this piece. It was a very lovely and visually inspiring film.
Aw, I never saw Hero, but the guy who asked me to draw this said the pose was inspired by some scene from Kenshin. But I STILL got the pose wrong, haha.
